Day 01: Punta Arenas: Reception at Punta Arenas airport (we recommend taking the first flights that arrive to the city) Transfer to the city and accommodation at the hotel of your choice. At 3:00 p.m. Departure from your hotel to start a City Tour (3 hours) that will allow us to know the main attractions of the city, as well as the history, legends, and adventures lived by our settlers and Indians. Day 02: Fuerte Bulnes – Punta Arenas – Puerto Natales: Breakfast. At 10:00 hrs. Departure from your hotel to start the Excursion to “Fuerte Bulnes” (3 and a half hours), place of great natural beauty and historical importance, located 60 kilometers south of the city. In its surroundings we will know the ruins of the city “King Don Felipe” located in 1584 also known as “Puerto del Hambre”; besides a monolith that indicates the “geographic center” of Chile (between Arica and the South Pole). In the afternoon, 14:30 hrs transfer to the terminal, where we will board at 15:00 a regular bus to the city of Puerto Natales (247 km / 3 hours of travel) Reception in terminal and transfer to hotel. Day 03: Puerto Natales – Torres del Paine National Park: Breakfast. At 07:30 hrs. Departure from your hotel to start the full day tour that will take us first, to the imposing Natural Monument “Cueva del Milodón”, and later, to the National Park “Torres del Paine” where the welcome is a beautiful panoramic of the “Paine” mountain range. We can also admire lakes such as “Sarmiento”, “Nordenskjold” and “Pehoe”. Its rich fauna will be present through guanacos, foxes, among others, as well as a large number of birds, easily observable during the trip. A short walk will take us to the “Salto Grande”, a large waterfall, part of the park’s hydrographic network. Then, returning to the main road, you can access the administrative headquarters of CONAF, to continue towards the “Gray Lake”, where after walking (30 minutes) in the middle of a ‘millenary’ forest we will arrive at its beach where we can admire a large amount of icebergs that detach from the Glacier. Day 04: Puerto Natales – Sailing to Glaciers: Breakfast at 07:40 transfer from your hotel to the fiscal pier. At 08:00 hrs the departure and departure of the maritime excursion to the “Balmaceda and Serrano” glaciers is contemplated. This navigation lasts about 4 hours to the Bernardo O’Higgins National Park “. During the trip we can observe the first “estancias” of the area, as well as colonies of sea lions, cormorants, and waterfalls in the middle of leafy forests and cliffs, these last home of the majestic Condor. Day 05: Puerto Natales – Punta Arenas – Penguins: Breakfast. At 08:40 hrs transfer from your hotel to the terminal to board a regular bus back to the city of Punta Arenas (247 km / 3 hours). Reception in terminal and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon at 16:00 hrs departure from your hotel, heading north. with destination to the Seno Otway Penguin Colony, a meeting place for hundreds of Magellanic penguins, who return every year to the nesting area. The colony is located at an approximate distance of 70 km from the city. During the trip we can see Cabo Negro, Kon Aiken (place of wind in the Tehuelche language) and the Pecket coal mine one of the largest in Chile, as well as a variety of birds such as caiquenes, ñandúes and flamencos. Upon arrival at the reserve, we will make a trek along the Otway Sound of approximately 01 km, in which we will share the habitat of such a beautiful species. Undoubtedly the landscape, added to the penguins will make this excursion unforgettable. The return to Punta Arenas is estimated at 20:30 hrs. Accommodation.
