The Ciprés cabin (90 m2), for eight people, has a double bedroom with full private bathroom; two bedrooms with two and four single beds respectively, a second full bathroom. Spacious and comfortable living and dining room for large groups.

The cabin Airre (70 mts2.), For six people has a double bedroom with full private bathroom; two bedrooms with two single beds each, a second bathroom. Living and dining room with reclining bergere and wood stove.

The Raulí cabin (49 m2), for four people, has a double bedroom with window to the ground and a wide view of the lake; a second bedroom with two single beds. Full bathroom with jacuzzi.Living and dining room in front of a large bow-window and overlooking the lake.

The Coigue cabin (36 m2), for two people, has a double bed, integrated into a large space comfortably furnished, with a reclining berger looking towards the park and the lake. Bathroom with jacuzzi.
Spanish, German and English are spoken.

GASTRONOMY
Mallin Colorado has been characterized since its inception by the excellent food offered to its visitors. All dishes and recipes are prepared exclusively by the owner of the house, with products from the garden and local meats, in a wood stove and pots of clay. Highlights are the preparations with masses such as raspberry tartlets, kneaded bread, butter and nut biscuits and many other specialties. Service to the cabins. The cabins have a minibar.

ACTIVITIES
In order that the visitor really exposes his spirit to strong experiences in contact with nature, PATAGONIA PACIFICA has organized various recreational activities, traveling through remote paths, entering the native jungle or navigating the crystalline waters of the Lake General basin Career. All the activities offered are carried out in the direct surroundings of the lodging place, the Mallin Colorado cabins.
Horseback ride to Laguna Mallin Colorado.
Duration: 4 hours Climb on horseback from the cabins for two hours through a forest of coligues, Aires and firewoods, stopping at spectacular viewpoints. We arrive up to a wide plain where the Mallin Colorado Lagoon is located, with a marshy surface on which a beautiful red flower grows. In front we can appreciate a spectacular view over the Contreras cord and its snowdrifts that reach Lake Bertrand. Soft ride Includes pic – nic.

Walk to the marble cathedrals
Duration: 4 hours Travel by van for an hour to the town of Puerto Tranquilo. We boarded along the coast of the lake and sailed to the marble caves that have formed at water level, we entered by boat and we can appreciate the spectacular combination of the calypso of the water with the white of the stones. You can appreciate and touch with your hands, take pictures and in a few summer bathe in the caverns. Return to Puerto Tranquilo and in an hour to Mallin Colorado. Soft ride

Raft down the Baker River.
(Grade 2) Duration: 4 hours. Travel by van to the south for half an hour to Puerto Bertrand, on the shores of the lake that bears the same name. Basic course in river safety, change of clothes and raft practice on the calm waters of the lake. Spectacular descent of 12 kilometers, approx. One hour and a half, possibilities of swimming in summer time. Arrival to the shore, change of clothes, hot coffee and return to Puerto Bertrand and in half an hour to Mallin Colorado. Medium and high adventure ride.
Horseback ride to the river Leones
Duration: eight hours. In a van to the river Leones where the horses are mounted very well aperados and begins to ride, bordering the river Leones until you reach the Leones lagoon, where you can see the immense drift that reaches its waters. Boat ride
Duration: 6 hours. Navigation through the crystal clear waters towards the sector of the General Carrera bridge where Lake Bertrand begins. Impressive view encased in the drainage sector, overlooking the eternal ice massifs of the Contreras cord. Walk through innumerable beaches with white sands and native forests in the narrow Lake Bertrand. Down to earth, picnic and climbing, excellent photo opportunities.

Walk on footpath
Duration two hours. Walking on a path inside Mallin Colorado, climbing steep hills in the middle of unspoiled nature and coigue forests. Beautiful views and viewpoints. Bird watching. Photography. Path signaled and cleared.

Raft excursion to Caleta Tortel
Duration: 4 days. Travel by van two hours to Cochrane. Change of clothes and complete equipment of rafting. Basic course on river safety. Down for four days with bilingual guide. Accommodation in tent, first quality food. Arrival in Tortel, lodging at the local inn. I return to El Vagabundo by raft. Travel by van two and a half hours to Cochrane. Lunch. Return to Mallin Colorado. High ride and adventure.
Cataraft fishing on the Baker River
Duration: half a day Half-hour trip to the town of Puerto Bertrand. Cataraft fishing specially equipped for fly fishing and with specialized guide. Down the Baker River, soft, fishing and admiring the incredible turquoise color of its waters and the wonderful scenery in which it is located. Return to Mallin Colorado.
