National Park of Chile that in 1979 was declared a world reserve by UNESCO. 1,242,000 hectares of thousand-year-old beauty, located at latitude 46-45 south of Chilean Patagonia. This place was discovered four centuries ago by a Spanish navigator, becoming today one of the natural beauties of Chile of major international importance. The Ice of the San Rafael date back more than 300,000 years. Its front is 2 kms wide and its towers rise to more than 70 mts. of height and sink 230 meters. Below sea level. Its length is 15 kms. and its origin is the Nevado San Valentín, in the Campo de Hielo Sur, of the Cordillera de Los Andes. The blue of the ice and its constant landslides have turned it into an international tradition, with icebergs of different sizes and colors, a unique spectacle in the world.
Skorpios takes you on a Dream Cruise for 7 days and 6 nights, navigating through spectacular canals and archipelagos, where in all its splendor, a vigorous nature is manifested and, in which, the action of man is almost imperceptible, with islands of soft geography, dotted in the extensive sea.
Set sail every Saturday from Puerto Montt, a city located at 1,000 kms. (620 mi.) South of Santiago towards the San Rafael Glacier, majestic vestige of the last glaciation of the planet.
We will visit fishing villages and isolated villages such as Puerto Aguirre and Queilen, the city of Castro, the Quitralco fjord with its thermal baths and the San Rafael Lagoon National Park, declared World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, with its magical ice glacier and spectacular of more than 30,000 years, showing its multi-colored towers of more than 70 meters (230 feet) in height that flow into the sea.

The M / N Skorpios II has capacity for 160 passengers, it has fully equipped and decorated cabins, all with private bathroom, environmental music, intercom and TV. It also has the Quitralco lounge (smoking), the San Rafael bar (non-smoking) and a main dining room.

Sunday: Navigation through Moraleda, Ferronave channels, arrival in Puerto Aguirre, departure and navigation through Ferronave, Pilcomayo, Canal Costa, Punta Leopardos anchors, 20 miles from San Rafael Glacier.
Monday: San Rafael rada highway, Canal Témpanos and Laguna, anchors 2 km. of the Glacier. Excursions in motor boats among multicolored icebergs, weather permitting. In the afternoon the ship approaches the Glacier. At dusk, sail to the Quitralco fjord.
Tuesday: Quitralco Fjord, thermal baths in indoor or outdoor pools, excursions in motor boats through the fjord. At dusk we set off for Chiloé through the Moraleda and Pérez Norte channels.
Wednesday: Navigation through the Leucayec channel, the Chonos archipelago, Corcovado Gulf crossing, Queilen arrival. Navigation by Yal channel, Estero de Castro, arrival in this city.
Thursday: Castro, artisan fair, Museum, Church. Optional excursion to Chonchi. At midday set sail for Estero de Castro, Lemuy channel, Dalcahue Quicaví, Calbuco. Gala Dinner Arrival in Puerto Montt.
Friday :: Arrived at the port at 08:00 am am. Landing of passengers between 08:00 am and 09:00 am.Terminal Skorpios, breakfast.
